swtor paypal payments; Do you need credit cards ?

So,
I recently discovered that i cannot buy games via origin using paypal as i do normally since they require a credit card to be linked with my paypal account.
So is this the same with payments done on swtor.com ?

If you dont have a credit card, you can always use a bank card and have it drafted out of your account each month. Not sure what types of payments they do accept. Just log into your account - go to set up subscription - then click on the payment type and see what they do accept.

Not that familiar with paypal. Is there a way to add money to it each month and use that to pay for things?

I have a similar issue with paypal since a couple of months (on humble bundle). refuses payments now even tho i have enough balance because it wants me to link my bank account to it.

They don't even require two step authentication how stupid do they think i am.
