    Correct:
    • If you're already enraged you can BC+RB, then continue the priority.
    • If you're not enraged, you can BC+Rampage instead.

Ultimately, this is fairly minor difference, it's not going to make or break your DPS, but using RB first is better on average, as it increases the chance of fitting an extra RB in on the back end, especially for players who aren't keenly aware of where their haste is (ie: at certain amounts of haste, it really doesn't matter which you do, since you'll fit that RB anyway, but many people don't look for this number, and prioritizing correctly means they don't have to).

You mention pushing the last two hits of Rampage into Battle Cry. Are you suggesting that we would be casting BC during the middle of Rampage, or that we would simply be clipping the rampage swing with BC+RB?

I hope my questions make sense. Thanks.
Rampage has a 1.5s GCD but it takes about 1.7s to deal all five hits. Using Rampage right before BC has three benefits -
    • It allows you to convert rage which would be wasted anyway into free damage, Rampage being the second strongest attack above 20%, just behind RB.
    • It pushes the last two hits of Rampage into BC, making them auto-crit for even more free damage.

      Here's a visual example:

Rampage starts at 2:33.280, with the second Rampage starting at 2:34.804, for a total of 7 Rampage crits inside Battle Cry. Remember that Rampage's damage ramps up with each hit, with the last two hits being the strongest as well.

    • With the T20 4p, it eats time between RB casts without using BT, allowing for a bigger BT buff inside BC, by doing something like -
      RB - FS - RP - BC+RB - RP - OF - RB - BT
Which is a three stack (+150%) damage increase on that Bloodthirst during BC. Note: Yes, this delays BT and reduces the chance to proc the 2p, Raging Thirst, but given that it's only a 50% chance on crit, chasing the guaranteed damage bonus averages better due to higher guaranteed damage of abilities themselves and the guaranteed 4p bonus.

Only if it happens naturally though - that's the caveat: you shouldn't delay your rotation to make this happen. If you're at 40 rage when BC comes off CD, it's typically better to simply use BC, unless you want to hold it for some other reason anyway. With how short the CD is, even small delays can end up costing overall uses of BC during an encounter.

You, sir, are a gentlemen and a scholar.

The best trinket coming from a mid-raid boss is interesting. Hasn't happened too often as far as I remember.

T20 seems designed to encourage the usage of Frenzy instead of Inner Rage, I wonder why they didn't even care to bump up that talent to make it worthwhile over Inner Rage. Weird.

Thanks for the great work as always Archi.

Have you looked into wearing T19 2 set + T20 4set? And for that matter 2p + 2p. I doubt it's that good since our better legendarys are also the same slot as tier pieces, but id kinda like to know for gearing up before actually having a T20 4set.

Yes, it's not optimal, but I'll put up some sims for it under the T19 v T20 once I'm done with other updates.

At equal ilvls, you can make it work, but you're going to be hard pressed to keep T19 ilvls up, so it's going to depreciate over time. The real drawback is the fact that you can't use any of the best legendaries.

Before anyone flies off the handle, an update:

I will, of course, parse the change after it's implemented, but it's extremely unlikely it'll be worth using at the high end unless they also refund Fury's 5% buff. I suspect it will be changed to -30% (up from -40%).

Thanks again for all this work.

Just one small thing i found:
Order Hall Follower Setup. You say, you use setup B with Thorim normal and Hodir as ally but equip Thorim as ally and Hodir for missions.
(Have seen this back in the other thread but was to lazy to mention it, but as it is in the main guide, i wanted to tell you/ask if this is a mistake.)

Not a mistake, it was more just because I already had both followers outfit that way (Thorim as Ally, Hodir as short mission specialist), and didn't want to change all the equipment around. Plus I like hearing Thorim yell "KROLMIR!".

    Archi any thoughts on this?

well you probable know much better than me but ...i replaced my DoS with krosus' trinket (915--->905) and i manually increased the CD to avatar level by not using it w/o Avatar AND BC both up...then tried some normal sims and then 8sec fights with and without drums..also tried 7 to 8 sec fight length sims...and the result was that DoS basically gives us roughly 4mil extra damage on each use(compared to our normal BC rotation) and it's before the 5% buff (still 7.2 in eu) so after the 5% aura buff that 4mil extra damage will be even lower and it's w/o nerfing DoS at all. so i really don't get what they are trying to achieve here. cause 4milion DoS damage (for me with a 915 one) is 27% of the drought's damage (again, its before our aura buff) so if they are going to revert the nerf to something like 20% or 25%....it would be kinda OK....otherwise, i think casting DoS with all CDs up will result in a dps loss....

    I just read that :

Hotfix now live: Draught of Souls' damage is reduced by 20% for Arms Warriors and 15% for Fury (was previously reduced by 40% for each)

Ya I saw the tweet shortly after posting. Means my DoS will hit for around 600k now instead of 450k

I've given it some tries on Dummies and this recent DoS re-buff does close the gap a little bit (I have a 895 one) but is still not on par with my 900 Fel-Oiled Infernal Machine, at least for me.
