    Wrong on almost every point.

    The actual facts are:

Karl Marx (your statements are about as accurate for Groucho Marx) and Engels both co-wrote 'Das Kapital' (one of the rare theories that is substantially less accurate than its predecessors - because they confused how they thought the world should be with how it is) and the Communist Manifest - https://www.marxists.org/archive/mar.../Manifesto.pdf

The latter is obviously highly relevant for this thread. The actual manifesto part is
A spectre is haunting Europe – the spectre of communism.
    ...
They (Communists) openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Working Men of All Countries, Unite!
That is a political action program - written by Marx and Engels as members of the communist party, and clearly on the left.

This is absolutely correct. Socialist and anarchist thinkers make a clear distinction between property and posesssion. Proudhon who is the father of all socialist and anarchist thought makes this distinction. He argues that property is theft but possession will be key to freeing the masses.

Which is insane because the reason you are free to leave your house for a walk in the park is because it is a property, not a possession and thus you can expect to still be able to use it when you come back. If it was a mere possession anyone who came along could take it while you are out.

He is right, though, that there can be no theft where there is no property, just possession, because "theft" is unlawfully taking possession of property.

The park is a public space not a private one. This is another distinction. If the park is private property you cannot pass. If it is owned by the public then it is common grounds and not property or possession. It cannot be held as either.

If you try to hold land as possession that you do not occupy or work individually then you are asking for private property. The man who is able to till his land by himself can be said to possess the land. If he tries to possess more than he could pissible occupy or work and would indeed need to hire others or leave it empty he is trying to claim private property.

    You are missing the point.
It is not about the park, it is about "your" home, because if there is no property then anyone can take possession of it while you are away.
When you leave "your" bedroom to till "your" field someone can take possession of "your" room, and when you come back in someone else might take possession of "your" field.

A 2016 poll by YouGov showed that while millennials still saw communism “very unfavorably,” they did so at a rate (37 percent) that was significantly lower than Americans as a whole (57 percent).
I'm pretty sure that unfavorable rating will increase as millennials get older. Many peace activists and new leftists became Republicans in the 80s when they were in or older than their 40s.
