1) Bastion of Twilight / Throne of the Four Winds / Blackwing Descent, aka t11, the best raidtier of all time.

The period spanning from the launch of Cata, to the release of Dragon Soul (4.0-4.3) was the best period of WoW for me. The endboss of each raid is still among the top fights of all time even today, and the bosses leading up to them were all very interesting.

Honourable mentions to Kara because of nostalgia and it being my first raid ever, ToT because of Lei Shen alone (the rest of the raid was kinda bland), Hellfire Citadel for having nice fights, but horrible raiddesign (more Fel green plz), and at last Nighthold, while being a good raid, it's still too fresh in memory to rate properly.

5. Icecrown Citadel/Ulduar - Didn't raid these much when they were current, but these are two of the most aesthetically impressive raids in the game.

4. Highmaul - Enjoyed this because it was an ogre raid. It was only current content for 2 1/2 months which was really unfortunate. Also, Tectus. RISE, MOUNTAINS!

3. Bastion of Twilight - Short but sweet. This raid was tuned extremely well and each progression kill was extremely satisfying. If Blizzard had staggered this tier like they do now, BoT would be more fondly remembered.

2. Hellfire Citadel - Speed running this raid on farm was a blast, which is why I never got sick of it. I loved the legendary ring and I loved how none of the fights were artificially lengthened. Watching 18 arcane mage kill Iron Reaver in 18 seconds was hilarious.

1. Tomb of Sargeras - There is one portal in this raid, and that takes you to the final boss's space ship. That's it. The entire raid is both aesthetically diverse and connected, making it the first raid to accomplish both of those feats. There is the perfect amount of trash. The bosses are mechanically simple with little add bloat. Blizzard knocked it out of the park with this one.

In order:
Ahn'Qiraj 40 - Everything about this raid was outstanding. Content & especially the difficulty.
Ice Crown Citadel - Absolutely loved the fights
Molten Core - The entire journey to get to MC (WPVP GALORE) and then a raid which was just so awesome. Really miss 40 man groups.
Karazhan - Enough said.
ToS - New raid is great, difficulty is too easy.

For me the power of Ulduar was in the visual diversity (something I consider extremely important) and mainly the lore. Ulduar was atmospheric and felt colossal in size and scope.

My personal list of funnest raids is as follows

This list is basically the raids i have done at their time and recall actually enjoying a majority of the boss fights. The general atmosphere nor the lore really matter much to me in these. I only got to outgear and out level the raids in MOP and Cata so i can't add them to my list.
