Well if the plan isn't "someone works while someone else takes care of the kids" theres things to improve. So long as we teach young people that their careers are more important than having a family, they're only a few generation away from leaving the gene pool.

Women have been active part of workforce here as long as industrialization has been a thing.

And before that everyone worked in the fields.
