Computer won't turn on after replacing on/off switch with external on/off switch.

    Need some help, pals.

The on/off switch recently got completely jammed. There's no reset button so it was my only option. I replaced it with an external power switch which worked perfectly yesterday. I installed some W10 updates and turned the computer off, now the switch doesn't seem to be working at all. If I plug in the old built-in switch it boots for a second then turns off (obviously) due to it being stuck. So can't be a PSU issue. What do I do? What's gone wrong?

Tired and not sure what to do.

You can touch a screwdriver or a piece of metal to the 2 pins to start the computer. The external switch is probably crap idk.
