Any way to stop a spell from auto targeting?

Is there a way to stop Fel Rush from targeting?

I did try /cleartarget for a bit, but it's annoying during combat.

I often us it for travel and then targets random mobs : /

You would probably have to do some shenanigans with focus, cleartarget and exists.

This might form the basis of something at least.

    /focus
    /use fel rush
    /cleartarget [nocombat]
    /tar focus [exists]

However it does rely on a focus, which if you are using for other purposes will mess this up.
Sets a focus to your current target if you have one.
    Uses Fel Rush.
Clears your target if you have one.
Targets your focus again if it exists.

Ye, I would agree with the above, maybe only use these 2 lines:

    /use fel rush
    /cleartarget [nocombat]
