I am a casual who NEVER raids mythic and I am better geared than world 1st main tank

    https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/ch...n-mill/scobomb

That's him.... Scobomb- the raid leader and main tank of "method" one of the best guilds out there

    And thats me :

    https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/ch...blade/cluttary

A casual player who only clears mythic +15 for a 930 item in chest and clears heroic ToS and I am better geared than this guy. To me that's frustrating. How can you be a super duper hardcore player and invest most of your time and social life in mythic raiding etc and be as well geared as a casual guy who does cross realm raiding....

    But honestly.... I LOVE IT!

Considering you can solo mythic+0, there won't be that many people interested in grouping up to clear it.

    lol.

Tanks are not the first players who get the tier items in raid.

They put in the hours for new released raids. Then it goes back to one night clear and not logging on till reset. RNG is RNG.

FIRST off, if you are doing Mythic +15 and clearing heroic you are NOT a casual, not even close. Now with that asside
If it makes you feel better most of their DH's also haven't cleared Mythic ToS,(DH's were not needed really) Here is one with same ilevel as you that has cleared even LESS content

    +15 is casual now

    Two things:

    1) The entire point of M+ was to give gear equal to mythic raiders. Except you don't get tier gear, so with bonusses raiders are still be better geared.

    2) Method literally stop giving gear to tank during progress as soon as they can survive the encounters. They prio giving gear to their DPS. I'm 929 on my main in purely M+ gear as well. But my tier sets are 915 only.

You may have a higher ilvl, but you don't have 1/10th of his skill set. You just got lucky with RNG. Not something I'd brag about.

never knew mythic 15 was "Casual" also you do know he has 2+ other toons right? lets see you no life commit to 3+ toons to get them to about that level
also 8/9 heroic ToS is ALSO not casual
also i find that funny, i think this actually makes you sound worse
"hey im higher ilvl then the best player in the world, hes 9/9 mythic though and im only 8/9 heroic"

Tanks/Healers generally are not given any loot on progress, all of it goes to DPS.

He could have also gotten unlucky with drops in general and not coined the right stuff.

On the flip side we have a Monk tank in our guild(who again does not get gear as a priority) sitting at 938 ilvl because he has coined everything. He also has the highest iLvl weapon in our guild at 964.

yeah man, those prestigious Pixels with random names made for each Tier sure were the pinnacle of Vidya gaems.

    Okay?

    Who cares?

Gear isn't supposed to be the focal point of wow anymore. Blizzard has clearly stated this and it's pretty clear that the abundance of gearing options makes it EXTREMELY easy to gear.

Not sure what you're looking to accomplish with this thread.

You do regular +15s and do both normal and heroic ToS each week. I guess this really depends on what you call 'casual'.

You can look it up and see that sco is one of the worst geared players on their team. All loot goes to others that can use it better.

And? Bragging rights or? Now go do harder content.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

    LOL. That's funny...

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

It depends how one defines casual.

To me, the term casual is someone that does not play a significant amount of time (say less at 10 hours a week which--I understand--might still be too much for many of you). Casual != bad player. The OP's WoWProgress shows it quite clearly that the OP has barely done much M+ content (through if he leeched gear is unknown).

I'd personally say that he is just very lucky with the drops at very low play time.

    PS: Titanforging sucks

Higher item level doesn't mean better gear.

Besides, it's pretty obvious that the most geared people in mythic group are the dps, which makes sense given how much dps is needed to kill Mythic Avatar. When the "mathematically impossible" meme started out people were saying it was impossible because your average dps had to do almost 1.3 million dps, which the forums deemed impossible, except Method's dps actually do more than 1.3 million dps.
