Spear of Anguish Immunity (Mythic Host)

Can Demon Hunters use Netherwalk to prevent Spear of Anguish from sending you down to the other realm? I believe that hunters and rouges can remove the debuff and im wondering why netherwalk doesn't do that same?

You prevent the damage, but you still get sent down, with the healing debuff too. I'm not exactly sure how other abilities interact with this particular debuff, but Netherwalk doesn't prevent debuffs from being applied like Turtle/Cloak/Bubble/Block, only damage. You can also live through the spear with only blur, but you get knocked down to an uncomfortably low amount of HP.
