    Wow... a definition that excludes other continents altogether. Baffling. Japan isn't a first world country because it's in Asia.

    Underdeveloped, developing and developed. It is still extremely simplistic, but it gets the job done. If you have trouble with large words, maybe you should reconsider your country being developed in the first place.
