I loved playing Dynasty Warriors games back on PS2. So apparently they're making a new one for PS4.

Gameplay looks almost the same but it's a DW game after all

Been following this since the first announcement, SUPER hyped. Loving the sound of the open world, and little things like swimming and climbing will make it SO much more fun.

Also, any excuse to get my hands on Xing Cai again. Although I DO wish they'd bring back her original Fork weapon, rather than the somewhat generic sword.

Also, bring back her "Autoblock on attack" passive from WO3 XD.

A lot of the redesigns look DW5-ish. This gives me irrational hope that my dude Zhou Yu will get his crescent blade back...

Lu Xun got his hat back at least, which is all that matters.

Zhou Yu was one of the first characters I ever maxed out, just because of that badass blade. REALLY hope they give it back to him, but I doubt they will, there are already quite a few sword fighters in game, and we all know how they feel about Cloned Move Sets...

Yet another reason why they need to give Xing Cai her fork back :'(

They were going fine all the way up to game X and XI, making improvements with each game, then with XII and now XIII, they've regressed, cutting content and taking the lazy way out in every possible way. Maybe they changed teams or something, but it's unfortunate. Most fans just play XI ><

Nevermind, that looks incredibly clunky. I mean...it looks like Dynasty Warriors for sure, but looks like what it looked like years ago. Looks to play like it too, shame.

Why would you want that? They completely butchered the PC port for Dynasty Warriors 8 and shoved a ridiculous amount of "DLC" into it.

I never played 8 and didn't know it existed. I'll be pirating it so I couldn't care less how shitty it is or how much dlc they have.

I wouldn't even recommend pirating it that's how bad it is. If you insist then by all means, go ahead, just don't be surprised when you discover what I've already told you.
