I come here to discuss the current state of the game not to read people's overly detailed obviously bullshit fanfiction.

Leaks in the past that turned out to have any amount of truth to them have been vague as hell and short. Anyone posting these super detailed leaks with tons of information are just so obviously the writers wet dream that have no basis in reality.

The only good ones are the funny obvious joke ones and those threads get locked because the mods hate fun.

I agree that they're boring. I wish people would just say "I have an idea for an expansion" instead of pretending it's a leak...most of the comments are people commenting on the veracity of it and not the content.

I believe that's mainly because they made enough vague guesses and got a few random parts right so that people would just "fill in the blanks" or ignore the parts that were blatantly false.

It's the psychic effect; make your predictions vague enough and they always seem to come true.

It's funny how they lock the satirical ones that are actually funny to read but they keep the steaming pile of shit ones that are just badly written fanfiction

I agree, it's getting boring. A good solution is to not read something you don't want to read though, especially if you're coming here to discuss something totally different.

This 100%. That's all this is, people trying to indulge their fantasy of being a someday game dev. "Gee, if rando forum dwellers like my post, maybe Big Daddy Blizzard will too!"

The problem with that is its not presented as " this is my idea, what do you think of it", its presented as "dis is totes a real leek guize 100% legit" . So instead of "wow what a cool idea" people just respond with "bullshit"

If you love fanfiction so much go read fanfiction. There's tons of it on the Internet and there's no need for it on a general discussion forum.

As I posted in another thread, the mods should just create a single mega thread where people can post their supposed "leaks" rather than cluttering the forums with post upon post of things that are nothing but someone's fanfic that's likely to never happen. If people want to see the outlandish ideas people come up with, they can read a single thread instead of clicking on numerous threads.
