I've tried going to https://www.tukui.org/dl.php to update elvui but the last few days I get 404 not found. Whats the deal with that and how can I update elvui.

Not sure if you know this but the website has been hacked some time ago. The new website's download page has a different link, just go to www.tukui.org and you shall find the download page up there.
People hated MoP but now many say it is the "Best" expansion. Given enough time, WoD will be the "Best" as well, I dare say.
