Overpopulation is not a problem. There are always these beliefs that the world can hold oh just so many people due to different imposed limits and as technological progress marches on it shows that each such limit is either completely irrelevant or can be increased to a ridiculous degree.

I'd rather see people punished for having children that they cannot afford to look after properly without state help.
