    Recommend me a new GPU?

I want to get a Vive. It has come to my attention that my GPU is no longer sufficient and thus I need to upgrade it first. I built my computer from a build given to me on this forum, it I don't know how to evaluate computer parts.

Here is the build from the previous thread.

    Monitor suggestion:

    Asus PB238Q 23.0" ~$200
    Dell P2414H 23.8" ~$230

    I wouldn't recommend anything bigger than 23-24" for 1080p. Next step up would be a 27" 1440p:

Perfect Pixel 27" QNIX QX2710 $380 (DVI only)
    Asus PB278Q 27.0" $470

However if you opt for a 1440p monitor expect to at least bump the GPU to a 290, 290x or GTX 780. ~$400-550

    Mouse and Keyboard:

Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 $50 fairly cheap, solid, anti-ghosting, few extra keys, red LED.

    Logitech G400s $43
    Logitech G500s $55
    Mionix NAOS 8200
    Func MS- 3 Revision 2
Corsair Vengeance M95 $65 (if you're looking for something with extra keys, MMO style)
IIRC I used all of the suggested components except the case and PSU, I got a better PSU and a bigger case.

Can you fine folks recommend a new card to replace my R9 280x?

E; budget about $550 usd, give or take.

er, budget for the GPU only is $550 ?

in that case there is only one option - aftermarket GTX1080 if you can find one for $550 or less (it is possible)

if you cant fine one then pretty much get the cheapest + decent brand (MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, EVGA etc. .. Zotac, Gainward ok too) aftermarket GTX 1070 you can get

I think I'd get the second one because my case and accessories are blue and black.

That will fit My MOBO, correct?
