I still think Communism kinda worked in China. Granted, it was just as bloody as everywhere else, but by and large, it survived till today. I guess that's because most Chinese don't give a shit who does the oppressing. Whether it's an emperor or a communist party doesn't make much difference to the farmer in some remote backwater village.

The dodgers are not an ideology. National Socialism is. People can be defined in and out of ideologies. The true scottsman falacy is not applicable. Using the iconography of a political movement founded on said ideology marks you as a follower of said ideology, by your own choice.

As others have stated the swastika is not a symbol for national socialism everywhere in the world, so its use means different things to different cultures. You have to recognize the meaning of a symbol in the culture you partake or live in. If you bring a swastika into a jewish synagoge in Germany you are either just plain ignorant or an asshole.

In Asia or other places in the world it does not mean that. But lets see you run around with a shirt that says "I fucked your mom last night" and see how open other cultures are to what you appears as harmless edgyness to you.
