California recently passed a self proclaimed “Sanctuary State” law known as SB54, and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director says that's not going to stop ICE from raiding Federal Criminal Illegal Aliens within the Communist territory of the United States of America.
Acting Director of ICE warned California that they're not only in violation of Federal Immigration Laws but that they're aiding and abetting Federal Fugitives. Homan said ICE will pursue arrests of undocumented illegal aliens en masse "in local neighborhoods and at worksites" in response to California's newly signed "Sanctuary State" law.

Beginning on January 1st of 2018 SB54 is set to bar police officers from asking suspected Federal Criminal Illegal Aliens about their immigration status and also doesn't allow for those Police Departments to assist the Federal Government in the apprehension of fugitives. It's outright insanity, to be honest, and ICE is having no part of this criminal Communist syndicate. Once the new “law” takes place, Local Police Departments, County Sheriff’s Offices, and Local as well as County Jails and their respective employees will not be able to contact ICE when a Federal Criminal Illegal Alien is charged with a misdemeanor crime; even though they're Federal Criminals the moment they walk into the United States of America illegally crossing the border. "SB54 will negatively impact ICE operations in California by nearly eliminating all cooperation and communication with our law enforcement partners in the state," Homan said.

There are three levels of police in the US, local which is 95% of them, state which is 4.9999% and federal. ICE is federal.

The states that have legalized weed? The local and state cops aren't arrest anyone but the federal police can. It's the same for illegal immigrants in these sanctuary zones.

Ultimately, I think it's CA's decision on whether or not they assist ICE with deporting criminal illegal aliens. If they place virtue signaling over the safety and well being of their residents, that's fine with me.

I personally don't get it. I understand not arresting people on the street for being illegal, I get not going house to house and searching for illegals.
