Well, I'm pretty sure the players will all die anyway if Azeroth busts out of her egg shell.

We don't know if the world dies, if a titan emerges. She could for example crack open a small spot, leave ,bless her former world, so it survives on its own and be on her merry way for example.

Except the Titans are not beings of the Light. They are beings of order/arcane. Just like the demons are not creatures of the Void, but of chaos and the Nether. Now in the Thousand Years of War story, Order and Light and Chaos and Void are somehow connected, but we haven't seen a lightforged Titan yet. Only those who were corrupted by the Fel (Sargeras, Aggramar, maybe Argus).

i didn't say they were being of light, i said void and light both want a titan of their own to rule reality, and that is bad for people that live in reality.

This. Blizzard has never specified what the "birth" of a Titan entails.

Doesn't the pre-argus scenario actually prove it, by having literal manifestations and giant void tentacles coming out of her until we beat the shit out of them.

They mostly prove that as she lucid dreams her strength is such that the dreams become reality. Very Hindu.

What I find more worrisome is that the Titan constructs are built simply to keep her in sleep and the nightmares suppressed rather than somehow working with her to deal with the fear.

Which actually brings up an interesting point, how much of the old god corruption is truly down to them and how much of it is actually Azeroth expressing herself through lucid dreaming?

Isn't she the size of a planet? Would need to be a rather large crack to come out of. Hopefully in the eastern kingdoms.

They seem to be energy beings who can create a physical form for themselves, if the latest events on Argus is any indication.

We know from the audio book that the nature of the titans is energy, not mass. They are energy beings that cocoon themselves with mass to protect themselves while gestating. We still have no idea if their awakened forms come from subsuming their planetary cocoons or if they extract their energy forms from their planets and then build bodies for themselves. We have seen both physical and incorporeal depictions of Titans after all and they seemingly can compress their totality in avatar form (As Argus, Aggramar or Eonar do).

Energy bursting out of a planet wouldn't do terribly great things to it either.
