Actually, it was EXACTLY what he asked/claimed;
Pre-sundering: One pangean continent named Kalimdor, to be split into 4
Post-Sundering: 4 continents named Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Pandaria and Northerend
Does that leave space for more continents? Sure..
Do we have any evidence of more continents? Nope.. Not the slightest.
Is there more land masses? Yup... Broken Isles, Kul'Tiras, Kezan etc.. But none of the KNOWN land masses are even close to continent status..

Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

You will find naysayers, but the obvious answer is that blizzard opened the door in case they ever need more land in azeroth
Honestly, having a hidden undiscovered continent at the back of Azeroth would fuck the lore up.
Judging by our current location (Argus) we can basically see all of the world (Azeroth). Now a new continent would come with a question regarding this plot hole: We've been to space so how the hell did we not see a huge landmass?
Now Blizzard can easily avoid this by doing the cheap Pandaria treatment (Hidden by mists) but I don't think they'd use that for a second time.
Or they can just... retcon it out and say a fifth continent has always been known.
Funny...I tried looking for these "continents" while take the view from Vindicaar. You can recognize few continents but cloud cover is thick and ofcourse you can't see the whole thing (planet appears tilted).
