No BGs, only open world.
Classic style BGs, move your ass to tag
Queued PVP from the interface

To me seems more important that the final pvp rewards are not available at launch, but only together with Naxx40 launch.
They would trivialize much of the pve content, almost from the start, before people have the slightest chance to experience it as it was.
I played WoW from day 1 launch till mid Cataclysm. What I liked the most in Vanilla was being able to queue up and while I waited I would do PvE solo content or grind out mats ect. Sitting and waiting for BG's in front of an instance completely sucks. There is way to much farming that needs to be done and too much time wasted waiting for a queue in an area that is useless to farm anything. Having to go and queue up at the instance is idiotic and counter productive to getting more players to PvP. If I have to wait for 15 minutes or more and have to just stand there instead of making progress farming mats for something or just doing anything I want in general I just wont bother queueing then and I bet I wouldn't be the only one. So what do you want? More people in the BG queues or everyone off doing other stuff because they have to sit in low level useless zones instead of farming out mats for raiding while they pvp.
I just want the giant AV turtles that lasted forever. I oddly enjoy the giant turtlefests.
I think if they're going for a simulated release schedule from back in the days. I.e. 1.0 > 1.1 > 1.2, etc. I think just release it as the patch comes out. If we're starting at 1.12. Maybe delay them and release them a couple of weeks after launch?
I'm not sure about BG masters. Better queue times means less people in the world, less 'organic' PvP, but more PvP in general. Also running out into the open world to queue meant a chance for an 'adventure' or 'conflict'. Which could mean more PvP. But it's also a pain in the ass.
Yes the 12 hour AV. Something I never experienced and I fucking wish I did!

AV and WSG! And of course old school AV... the massive battles, me farming Arcane Crystals in the mines... good times.
I agree, it was so much more fun and immersive back then waiting for a 3 hour wsg queue or an 8 hour av queue because people had to run to opposite sides of the world to queue up for them. I truly hated it when they implemented battlemasters and wait times shrunk dramatically...it completely took away my immersion by getting to do what I actually wanted to do, faster. Once battlemasters were put in the game, I just didn't feel like an actual real life rogue or paladin anymore by not having to go through the immersion of taking 25 flightpoints and a boat across the world (because of course, in Vanilla you have to stop at every flightpoint since they weren't connected, which equaled complete immersion of course).
My only wish in Vanilla was that I could be perpetually stuck doing the same few things over and over again forever, having the deep deep immersion of taking copious amounts of time doing tedious things instead of the things I actually want to be doing forever, as well as never progressing past a certain point...forever. Almost sounds like a version of hell to the garbage casual wrath/mists/cata/etc-babies I am sure!
Of course the BG's should be in game.
But I would like a period of them out of game from the start. This way we can have world PvP, crossroads, southshore, capital raids etc. At least during the leveling period and a few months. I'd say 4-6 months from launch without BG's is fine.
Why cant we hold off on BGs for a few months after launch and then release WSG & AV like they did in patch 1.5?
Let people experience "authentic" world pvp. SS vs TM was some of the best pvp I ever experienced.
Sticking an option to queue for BG's on the UI means people exploiting to get back to main cities when HS is on CD.
I would like vanilla to release without battlegrounds for the first 5-6 months so that we for the first time in 12 years can experience WoW PVP without battlegrounds.
