I can see it being useful if you have to cover up a Witchiepoo honker.

Because women love cuteness and it makes them cute and makes their eyes bigger.
Also hides any imperfections they definitely have.
It's the next gen makeup, while you can still wear makeup on top of that. And then women complain that there are "no real men".
Between Snapchat effects and makeup, I keep wondering what girls on pictures actually look like.

    EDIT:

Here, I'm hiding that I shave my head.
Then when I go on dates girls are like WTF.

Even though it looks dumb as hell, I'm grateful for it. It instantly lets me know who to avoid.

    It's cutesy-poo. Shrug.

P.S. Why isn't the cat version equally popular?

People on a social app want attention? I wonder why.

I find it odd, too. Just for dating sites, though. I mean, these are people who don't even write out bios. All I know about you is that one picture, and you have the dog face on it. How is that supposed to tell me how compatible we are?

I guess all you have to do is find the person without the dog filter on the dating app and you've found yourself a match.

Memes in dating are pretty annoying, that's why I also check the "better" sites like Match since it seems like girls there are more serious (though I've seen the filters there too). Tinder is basically a game.

Wait, there's a super saiyan face filter?
This is some Halloween filter on my Note 8. I don't use Snapchat. I can't really change what my Samsung Camera shows me so I might as well go with the flow.

If I'm verbalizing as I'm swiping, those types of pictures get something like, "Retarded." <swipe left>

Well it's worked out for them in this case, they get to avoid getting messaged by some weirdo who hates people having a bit of fun.

You're on a dating app trying to sell yourself with your face. Hiding half your face is just silly. It's like going on Tinder wearing a Halloween mask, sure it's fun but completely counterintuitive to dating when you literally have 1 picture to attract others. Keep silly pictures to FB. It's like people that use pictures of their pet or car

Why don't you just go make a site for dating with those rules so you and all the other sad sacks can find each other
