Chronometer: Color of the totem timer bars

like the topic says I'd like to change the color of the bars of my totem timer, actually it is not possible by only change the color of the bars. Dunno why the totem bars do not transfer this. Any tip of how I can still change the color? Look ugly in light blue, green, deep red an dark blue
