does anybody know what mod is this? the one that shows the spell icon(cyclone) and the name of the person that is casting it?

This is probably quite a complicated questions so no hard feelings if you don't know the answer!
It's about MikScrollingBattleText. I'm trying to make a custom trigger which prints a message on the screen whenever you are able to cast Power Word: Shield on yourself (priest). So basically the trigger should be something like; when Weakened Soul fades from you print random message and I'm decently familiar with making triggers for this addon but I haven't been able to do this before. Mik himself (author of the mod) gave me this reply:
"The combat log does not give another message when you already have a refreshable buff such as PW:S on you. If there is no combat log message then MSBT can't know about it."
Not sure if he correctly interpreted my question thou, hope I can find some help here!

I also use miks but here's a better one for ya. It's called Power Auras

It can be configured to do exactly what you want which is show you when Weakened Soul fades from you. This addon (and I have it on my priest as well) can put a graphic+timer on your screen that tracks Weakened Soul's duration so you know when it has faded.

To move the tool tips, I use Aquafusion Tooltip mod, I don't remember where I got it from, and for updates I use WoWMatrix, so I never have to go looking for updates, only new mods.

But I find Aquafusion Tooltip very useful for it's basic functionality which is simply to allow you to move where different tooltips appear on your screen.

I'd like to toy with making my own addon's again. I started out before and made a very very simple one that was only text on the screen attached to the bottom of the minimap that just displayed the XP left until I level, a simple number, allowed me to get rid of the (imo) dumb xp bar off the screen. I'd like to work on making moveable frames, and playing with that type of thing before delving into something bigger. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for dev env's or things like that, I know there are a couple out there just from Googling, but thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience with any and has good comments about one/some.

I don't know if it's updated or not but i'm fairly certain that there might be an updated version of it out there by another author somewhere.
