thanks, that sounds like a great idea, I don't have any healer alts levelled yet, but I have started a priest.. just keeping them as small as possible but still selectable is kind of important though as an arcane mage, so I can put focus magic on an apprpriate target.. though I do also have decursive.. could I use that for that purpose, just having the decursive micro unit frames visible?

Decursive frames don't track health, just presence of debuffs. So if that's all you want, sure. But if you're going to be casting your FM on someone by clicking on them then you'll need a raidframe. Any raidframe mods (and even unitframe mods will all have raidframe capability) will allow you to make them as small and non-intrusive as you want. There are ways, like using Kong or kgPanels to hide them unless on mouseover for example too.

ok, I am now having a slight difficulty with x-perl unit frames, in that for whatever reason, it's not hiding/getting rid of the default blizzard raid frames, making my ui even more cluttered.. how can I do something about this?

Hmm ask Zork directly about it. I can see the main actionbar he didn't put in option to showonmouseover so check if he just forgot or if there's actually no support for it. He replies quickly. If there isn't support for it, he may be able to give you an alternative.

Well generally you gotta turn on this option in xperl. If it's on and not working, you might have a conflict with another addon where if more than one addon is trying to hide them, they'll end up showing instead. Usual culprits are unitframe and raidframe addons.

Nope. But people have been studying wardrobes in wow for some time for NPCs, so, you'll find their dressrobe lookalikes sets easily. Which NPC are you talking about?

Well the sad part is it's not too obscure no. The other city's quartermasters are there. I'm guessing this one isn't cause she's too small and it's hard to tell the pieces from just looking. As you can see, this link:

if you click on the quartermasters tab will have most of them listed, but the gnomeragan one isn't there though Ironforge one is. Sorry

The best you can do I think is get MogIt, then while you're in game, standing next to the quartermaster, try and sort items by color (approximate it to the armor on her), and then check the pieces for cloth/leather/mail/plate that you think fit what you're seeing. MogIt allows easy browsing so it shouldn't be too hard.

Okay. I managed to screw up majorly and now I have to set up all my add-ons again. After starting to work my way through ElvUI again, I noticed some buffs appearing in the middle of my screen out of nowhere.
