Alright, this is driving me nuts. Anyone know what is causing this hideous yellow edge texture on my timer spirals?
It only happens on Grid and some abilities on my action bar. No other spirals have it. And it's not in grid or my action bars mod. also not in omnicc.
I've gotten rid of it before. It's a texture file (tga or blp? one of those). I just cant find it again.

Isnt it the build-in buff/debuff-tracker in grid? Have you tried to disable it?

So my target is the dummy. In order for his full name to be showen with I think font size 14, it always looks so stupid.
Any way for SUF to shorten long names? Changing font size to smaller one, would be crappy for short names.

I use SUF and mine never show the full name if it's too long. 8 characters not including spaces and then ... . Not enough posts to share link. But I guess it's a box to tick somewhere in the settings?
Edit: This could be the one. Just remove spaces from link (hope it works) postimg. org /image/kku196cp3/
And this is how long name looks on mine with these weight settings postimg. org/image/6jitx9eud/

It is very easy. We have many guides on how to do it.
Basically you just need to create a Folder (i.e. "Shortnames") and in this folder you create 2 textdocuments: "shortnames.toc" and "shortnames.lua"
Open the .lua and paste in the code, save it.
open the .toc and add the ##Interface-Version Number as well as the .lua data to load.
We have a guide somewhere in here and a link to a webpage that makes this all for you. Can't find it right now, I'm on my smartphone^^
thanks man! I come up with a simple soloution, while not perfect, but okay. if it bothers me, I will find that guide later! you are gr88888 help ))

How do I make a weak aura to show that any rogue skill is available even when I dont have the energy for it? I only manage to do "Action Usable" but then it wont show up even when I dont have the energy to cast it.
Oh thanks! I always forget about the damn invert thing :P
I used to use a heavily modified version of Glyph's UI (found here: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ndEffects.html)
But I ran into a weird bug where all of the names that float above people's heads kept disappearing. I checked the option on WoW's options, and show all names was checked and everything. What could the issue be?
GlyphUI uses KUI Nameplates which controls and hiding and showing of nameplates in the game.
To change the settings, open your Interface menu, select the Addons tab, and click on KUI Nameplates. In the General Display category. Combat Action: Hostile and Combat Action: Friendly have the options you're looking for.
If it's not the nameplates you're referring to, but rather the simple names, then it must then be a setting in ElvUI (which is the base for GlyphUI) and I am not very familiar with that, but if I remember correctly the command is /elv in game to open the config.
Hope that helped.

Based on what Dancingblade said, it is possible that the two are conflicting, since ElvUI would also be bringing its own nameplate implementation.
Figure out which it is you want to use, and disable the other.
I am not familliar with ElvUI so cannot say how to disable its own version, but KuiNameplates could be disabled through the in-game addon panel, or have its options modified through the interface/addons options.
