Archimonde encounter has been hotfixed.
I can verify that we killed him tonight and the MT did not get targeted for Air Burst, and although the fire seems to spawn closer to Archimonde himself, and the fire is faster, it is still easily dodged by the melee (I was one of them, so I would know)We just implemented a hotfix for all realms that makes Archimonde's doomfires no longer be able to move right through him after they spawn. Their movement should now be much more consistent with the previous patch's behavior, and melee should have a bit easier time dodging the doomfires as a result of the change. There have been other reports of odd behavior in the encounter since the 2.4.2 patch, but this is the only problem we've been able to verify locally. We'll continue to monitor reports of unusual behavior in this encounter, and investigate further as needed.
One try I had 28 dps and 30k dmg done after 5 minutes. I can keep dodging fire whole time till enrage but I would also like to do dps since thats why I am there... :Originally Posted by Msrogue
Fire is fucked up doing circles around him and spawning directly on melee so there is really little place to move... not to mention sometimes he is covered by fires that you cant melee him at all.. fortunatly should be hotfixed now:

We also hotfixed a bug in the Eredar Twins encounter that prevent a Hunter's Feign Death ability from working if Lady Sacrolash was alive. Daelo

don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but it seems like the "Will of the Forsaken" has his typical ground animation again, was removed with 2.4.1
more 2.4.2 changes i observed:
- MgT heroic : 2nd boss Vexallus : u cannot stay near/under the candle stand and not receive the dot when killing the sparks
- MgT heroic : 4th boss Kael : the 3 balls that move after u in the room in phase 2 move faster now
- text after icons (line {skull} ) is distorted - might be an addon though
Belf stealth also seems to be bugged, looks like a gnome in stealth :P
But i told a GM alrdy so i think a fix inc soon enough![]()

Another undocumented change: Oblivion Mages in Sunwell (the Ederar dudes that mass poly, cast fire buffet, and pew pew bolts) are no longer fearable, though seem to be fake-Exorcisable, i.e. get the fear animation, but continue casting. We ridiculously wiped twice (omg!) on the 3rd pack after the Twins - had two of these mages, a shivarra spinning dude and a painbringer.
