At this point with the 2nd Rune showing Im pretty convinced this is going to be a multiple announcement. As In WotLK, Starcraft 2, and a 3rd game.

Keep in mind this "Next-Gen MMO" Blizzard has been quoted saying "Its not going to be anything like WoW"... So a Diablo MMO seems unlikely.

So Blizzards new MMO is going to be unlike World of Warcraft. Diablo MMO would seem very much like WoW. So I doubt if Diablo is the new game being annouced that it will be a MMO.

Im praying for Universe of Starcraft, Starcraft Universe, World of Starcraft, or any combination of those. lol...

Maybe Blizzard is going to do something completely different. Sorta like Spore is doing.

And how exactly did you "rule out" the possibility? You didn't, so keep on trucking - the WWI is just around the corner.

What makes this really stick out as Diablo 3, is the hel runes imprinted on the ice or whatever the blue solid stuff is... There is one in the NE corner, about 2 o'clock, and another on the West side, about 9 o'clock. Clearly diablo.

Except,
- The first rune (north east) looks more like the first rune from frostmourne than any of the diablo2 runes.
- The second rune (north west) is a perfect match with the hel rune from diablo2.
- The third rune (south east) however is no rune at all but a perfect match with the protoss logo of starcraft2 (http://eu.starcraft2.com/features/protoss/main.xml, it's to the left of the unit navigation).

So, that makes 3 games in a single picture.
