    Strength of Earth totem

I am a little confused at one point:

Strength of Earth totem gives 86 strength untalented while Grace of Air gives 77 Agility.

Will it remain the same or will it be:

Strength of Earth Totem: Increases strength and agility by 86...............etc etc
    or
Strength of Earth Totem: Increases Strength by 86 and Agilty by 77.......etc etc

Secondly, what will happen to the T4 2-piece set bonus. Though this has little importance

    Major buff*

We can have WF and Str/Agi down now

And to top it all off; Windfury Totem buffs us now too.

Windfury chance could be nice, but 15% base mana cost for a totem with 5 hp? Hit it 1 time and you've just wasted 15% base mana..

    Re: Strength of Earth totem

It's one thing to waste 15% mana, and completely different to waste 15% BASE mana. Remember, base mana is your mana pool while not wearing anything.

    Re: Strength of Earth totem

For example cure poison costs 7% base mana now, which in my case is 207 mana.
So 15% base mana would be like 450 mana at the moment. Not that big of a deal

Happens Still, combining Strength and Agility totems, and giving the option to get the new WF totem is quite a buff for melee classes.

    Re: Strength of Earth totem

keep in mind that windfury is no longer a weapon enchantment either, so melee can do stuff like use sharpening stones or poisons, and shaman themselves benefit from personal windfury enchants *and* the totem itself.

its a *massive* boost, not even a minor one..

    Re: Strength of Earth totem

15% of base mana isn't much more than what it costs now, so that's not as much of a change as it might sound like. To get an idea of how much it will cost, have a look at your cleansing totems. They currently cost 8% of base mana, so slightly less than twice of what they cost now.

Also note that all totems that have only one rank (except Tremor and Sentry) currently cost a percentage of base mana. Disease/Poison Cleansing, Tranquil Air, Grounding, Earthbind, Mana Tide, Totem of Wrath.
Diplomacy is just war by other means.

    Re: Strength of Earth totem

tbh i don't really see why anyone could bitch about 15% base mana, think how much mana you actually save because you no longer have to totem twist.
in pvp no-one really bothers killing anyhting but mana tide and occasionally windfury.

no WF totem and WF weapon.
rogues will have WF Totem and Poisons
warriors will have WF Totem and counterweight/sharpening stone.
feral druids will probably still suck.

    Re: Strength of Earth totem

hehe, the new WF totems is great >period<.

the only ones that get raped is Hunters, but they got nothing out of the previous wf either so /care.
They will be glad SOE is a earth totem, no more whines about 'can i plix plix have agi totem instead of WF for the melee'

    Re: Strength of Earth totem

Well reguardless of who wants what in your raid/ group now you are ultimately THE deciding factor of what is needed. I routinely ignore the 1 warrior or rogue that wants WF when there is 2 or more ppl that would benefit from GoA. Even if I choose to put down GoA, I will also put down FT so they won't wine as much.

Actually, they will. They will no longer clip auto-shot with yellow abilities which means morebenefit out of haste.

Oh, and MM is getting a mini-WF talent :P (10% chance on extra 60% dmg shot on auto-shots)
