Arcane Specc

i was playing a bit with the talent calculator and made (in my opinion) a nice specc.

Trough the Arcane Meditation and Student of Mind you'll get probably a nice manareg. A rotation of Arcane Missisles, Blast and Barrage should work (didn't thought about a real rotation)

What do you think?

I love the new arcane changes! I like your spec but I would probably switch the 11 points from fire to frost to grab icy veins, although the thought of actually being able to weave AP POM pyros into the rotation every 2.5 minutes is pretty tempting.

I also switched magic absorption for arcane potency (~3% crit) and magic attunement (increased arcane spell range). I've got 1 point leftover that could be tossed into slow, or arcane fortitude... wherever you like really.

Edit: I might even switch improved arcane missiles for magic absorption for raiding... don't plan on being hit too much while casting AM and the massive 80 resist all and chance to regen mana is pretty nice (especially stacked with mage armor).

Well I play the arc/frost spec different from prob everyone else. I spec deep arc but I dont use arc blast in a rotation. I just spam frostbolt. And I always out dmg and dps other mages who either spam AB or uses a AB -- FB rotation. In WOTLK i'm prob gonna use this spec.

With this spec on raid bosses I will have over a 40% chance to crit within 15secs of the fight. Plus with more mana regen, 18% reduction on my frostbolt, and a reducd cd on AP my overall dmg and dps should jump from 1.2k (on raid bosses) to 1.3k easy...if not more. Thanks blizz for making mages the OP class we should be!
