    fine how about http://www.mmo-champion.com/talent/?...05200005300000

the whole point is that your wearing ret gear so you cant realy skip on the increased healing/spell dmg from ap and stamina

without spiritual focus you wont be able to cast any heals.

I would go with a holy/ret build instead for pvp healing. as prot tree has too many useless talents for healing to be worth it, while ret has some good stuff like spell crit, runspeed etc.

I'd go with this spec. The point of it is that you would wear both melee and caster gear, maybe caster gear with crit and strength gems. The spec allows you to both reduce damage taken, and bring the hurt if you need to. I still have the important healing aspects, also.

I would like to say I would never actually use this spec. It was purely to see if I could make a Prot/ Ret healing spec that makes sense. I think I did pretty good.

That will most likely be the PVP Paladin spec, that is not full Ret.

Reasons below (ignoring the old talents / obvious ones).

First and most important is the changes to hit/crit/etc. Paladins (Holy / Ret) will just be stacking as much crit as possible, and it will apply to both their spells and attacks.

    Holy Talents:
Blessed Hands - needed for the new "Hands" and to keep them up when casted.
Holy Shock - NEW and IMPROVED. 40 yards as a heal spell, 6 SECOND cool down - it is actually a shock spell now.
Infusion of Light - AWESOME talent, esp. with the changes to Holy Shock.

    Retribution Talents:
Heart of the Crusader: Added 3% chance to crit on your judgement targets - and you will be Judging.
Sanctified Retribution: 2% more damage done by all whom have the Aura. With 2 Paladins will be up, and even solo can be used at times.
Sheath of Light: Plain awesome, esp with instant cast holy lights from Infusion of light, and with high crit will be planting HoT effect all over.
Judgments of the Wise: 60% OF DAMAGE BACK AS MANA - to THREE (3) people. You WILL be using Judgements. You will be getting more mana back that it costs to Judge.

Paladins will NOT be just standing around chain healing only. It will be a lot more active, and more offensive.

If not aware of of the changes to Seals / Judgements please read: http://www.mmo-champion.com/index.ph...2597#msg162597

its pointless to take str gear as all the seals scale with spellpower aswell, just take spellpower you will heal better but also do more dmg. instead of only doing more dmg and healing worse. all crit ratings work for both melee and spells which pally pvp gear got loads of.

the prot talents helps you against melee dmg which you already are very strong against with your 17k armor a s3 pala has atm. while holy reduces duration of fears, curse of tounges etc which is more dangerous for you as your armor, block, dodge etc doesnt help.

    idk.
all of yall are changing mah spec.
the whole point of it was you would have really good spell dmg and could heal in ret gear.
because of the +healing from stamina and from ap.

It is better to go Holy / Ret than Prot / Ret if you want to do really good healing while still in Ret gear. Ret gear has +Crit on it, Prot talents do not take advantage of that as well as Holy Talents do.

They have changed talents somewhat, so ignore my spec above - but it is still just a fact that if you are fully Ret geared Ret / Holy is the way you want to spec

I heard that the Mana Refund from Judgment of the Wise is spread between ally and not just giving to each of the 4 ally.

Not sure, will have to test it out.

But as my Judgment at 70 costs ~150 mana, and I can get anywhere from 400 to 800 (with VERY base gear) depending on crit damage it is more than paid for even if I divide the mana refunded.

At 80, with good gear and lots of crit, mana will be not be an issue in this build.

That one. And it is lowest active mana - in that if a mage has 15k mana total and 7K mana active, but you have 8k total and only 6k active you will get the mana vs. the mage.

That is how it works right now (I believe). Will confirm as soon as possible.

imo the best pvp tallent spec in wrath will be 12 holy 5 prot 54 ret

12 holy for imp lay on hands.. normal lay on hands cd in wrath 20 min imp 16 min.. in arena u can not use anything with a cd more than 20 min. ( if im not mistaken) meaning this would let it in arena

5 in prot for 15 str

and 54 in ret for well all the cool shit =] thats just my opinion on what will be the best spec ;D

Cut off is 15 minutes to be used in Arena. Gee, I wonder why Blizz lets you spec to 16 minute cooldown? I see no connection at all...

Will most likely try both of these out.
