How does this look for pve and pvp?

Survival is def a good PvP or PvE spec, but it might just be the hardest to combine the 2. I can come up with a good PvP or PvE spec using deep Surv, but it just doesn't work well for both.

I think we will see deep Beast, Marks, and Surv specs in both PvP and PvE, but that may change with time.

Oh ok so would the spec i made do ok for PvE? also is there any changed i need to make to it?

The spec you made is decent for pve, but shit for pvp.
But don't forget, its still beta, there might be a million changes still coming

Thanks yes i agree its bad for PvP i will probally go MM for pvp but I just want to try survival PvE for the explosive shot

SV is viable for both PvP and PvE but u cant cross 2 specs together to get like... a "mix" becos basically a successful spec also requires talents in other trees

the link u showed was actually a PvE raid spec except if i were you.. remove the points from imp FD and put them into 1/2 clever traps and deterrence.. (you have no idea how much deterrence will save your life)

as for PvP wise... do you really wanna go without aimed shot? becos the reduced healing debuff will help a lot

also for PvE wise you might wanna go with careful aim. careful aim 3/3 is a MUST for PvE seeing how your int will be way higher at 80 and u will most likely get 600-800 extra ap int buffed fully buffed in raids.. if u get my drift

cut out all the BM talents

1. get explosive shot
2. get sniper training
3 5/5 improved stings? get 3/3 focused aim, 1/2 improved daze or mayb 2/2 improved dazed (for the bonus dmg steadyshot + daze thingy) if 1/2 imp daze then put one into go for the throat
4. remove imp tracking and put it into savage strikes = win (u wont believe how often yur raptor strike crits and for how high (using 2h weapons)

1. remove trap mastery talents becos if im not wrong.. it was stated that it was removed from the talent trees and if im wrong.. you dont need it anyway.
2. remove 3/3 entrapment becos it messes up AoE chain pulls
3. remove 3/3 resourcefulness
4. remove aim shot - you wont be putting it into any shot rotation
5. no master tactician? seriously? no SERIOUSLY?! 5/5 MT pls
6. there is no need to have counterattack...honestly...
7. oh man wyvern sting? come on.. even if u needed the CC in a raid there is always enuff CC from mages druids and shamans in WOTLK
8. take out 2/2 clever traps to 1/2 clever traps


after removing all the useless talents and putting the points into the correct talents.. u should have about 7 points left. i might be wrong too lazy to check. anyway basically your tree should be 6/14/51
