Can anyone confirm that you need to use fade to get 70% pushback avoidance with this spell, or is it that fade just removes movement effects and the tool tip reads abit weird?

The 70% pushback immunity applies passively to shadowform. The wording of the tooltip is misleading.

PS: "Dispersion" is not really the right topic for this. The talent you are speaking about is "Improved Shadowform".
