I'm currently leveling my engineering so I'd rather it be an engineering mount.

That said, the thought did occur to me that these could be pvp rewards. Would sort of fit in with the new pvp settings with siege vehicles and the like. Also.. there is a horde and alliance version too...

Engineering has a mount currently. There are 2 skins for the bike for horde and alience where the existing engineering mount has 1. Blizzard is proud of their siege weapons and the art on the bike matches the theme of siege weapons identically for each prospective faction as you have mentioned. License plate even says pwn which is used frequiently in any pvp.
