If you are talking about this Shield Slam you should know that the scenario was prepared to do an aawasomely huge Shield Slam. The slamer had on all the buffs that could multiply damage caused and the slamed has no armor and all the debuffs that can multiply damage recived.
The regular hit of a Shield Slam in the WotLK won't be that massive. A warrior with the same equipment mentioned some posts before will Slam for about 2500 before armor reduction. I think the difference is too big for different versions of the same spell.

I suppose he did. Look at the remaining cooldown on his wings -> 1min30.
So I guess he used wings for the slam, and scrolled his combat log to show the damage (explaining why we don't see the "avanging wrath fades" line)

Meh, an insane strength pot + wings + slam = g'nite.
I play the class in WotLK that is the worst spec class, that got nerfed, while all the other spec's got buffed. Which class is that? All of them of course...if you believe forum posts

Sor is sooo not gonna get to live in this state. A tank outdpsing a DPS class in PvP while still maintaining all that health and avoidance? Rite. :3

Re: Shield of Righteousness - Seems a bit OP?

its not really op being tanking is through damage in a pve perspective it is fine and is probally as intended.
look at how a prot warrior is also doing alot of damage over all now.

Re: Shield of Righteousness - Seems a bit OP?

Paladins will be balanced similarly to death knights, so if it's doing 9K damage I'm sure it will get nerfed by at least half.
