As a reply to the general Idea that the OP had. I think it could be worth it writing a post with stuff that you have to read before calling to nerf ret pallies.
With big bolded letters, IT'S BALANCED FOR LEVEL 80.

Spam post it all over the forums, live ones ofcourse. in every thread that has something to do with getting retridins or pallies in general nerfed.
Would have to be properly written by someone with some writing skills though

general gist of it would be, yes we know we are kind of op right now, but please consider this.
