Benediction, looking at it under a new (Flash of) Light

Hey there guys, i've been fiddling around with the talent builder and i came uyp with something interesting that needs confirmation from someone who has access to either PTR or Beta.

    My spec is this:

    http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?pala...00000000000000

    Short explanation:

I see it under the "restokin" way of thinking, dps very able to use heals.

Question is, When FoL turns out to be instant due to art of war proc, its mana cost is reduced by benediction? If yes, it's wise to use it, if i specced into illumination?

Anoither question is, Benediction lowers the cost of the spells after the base mana % is calculated? like, 14% of total mana = xxx -10% ?

    Thanks :>

spells go with normal casting speed for such talents
    Pity Heal
    Unlimited range
    Channeled
Baron Ashbury has pity on you, but only so he can continue inflicting pain! Heals all nearby enemies and allies for 5% health every 1 sec.

You want to try specing Infusion of Light/JoTW.

I logged in and immediatly tried that.

At my level, 70, the normal 1.5 second cast FoL (Rank 7) costs 206 Mana.

With the Art of War proc, even if in the tootltip of the buff there is a typo, FoL tooltip says that it is ISTANT, but the Mana Cost is the same: 206.

    Hope that helps.

And, yes, as Basutai said, Benediction lower the BaseMana%, not the % itself.

As Spamor said these mana cost reductions always check the base casting speed of a spell.
