    Meta Gems

    I have been browsing around and I can't figure out which meta would be the best for an Arcane Mage. I'm thinking:

    Well, I haven't played a mage past level 60. But imo, if you're good on regen then go for the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41285. If not however, and you feel you need more regen/mana, go for the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41401.

    The 3% bonus crit damage is significantly more due to the odd way it's calculated. Even for arcane, with the worst crit multiplier of raid worthy mage specs, the bonus damage is worth far more than any bonus mana from other meta gems.
