I haven't seen or heard anything about this, but I thought that it's time that JCs have a specialisation. Perhaps Spec in Trinkets, or Meta gems, etc. Something that can give them the extra epic BoPs that other profs have.

Jewlcrafting is getting some nice jc olny jems ;not every prof. needs a specialization. Jewlcrafting like enchanting are more to help your guild and your friends then benifit yourself. Pre bc there was no enchants that only the enchanter could have, they threw in the ring enchants to make enchanting more appealing, just like the gems they are adding in wotlk.
i would actually like to see some sort of JC specs, maybe 3, every one specced for different colours of gems,
1st: yellow and purple
2nd: blue and orange
3rd: red and green
maybe they could get something passive prof them, like 10-20% better strength of those colors, or had a % chance raised for making perfect cuts or, like alchemists, % chance to make 2 gems, one of them always perfect cut, or something like that
Would think the red will be much in demand.
Chance to get extra gems would be nice.
don't think extra strength would be much of a good idea beyond what's already being implemented.
Well I would like JCs to be able to make rings and necks that we actually want to wear... well there are those sweet ones from the sunwell, but I doubt I'll get there till I'm lvl 80, so make some of those, bop them if necessary. Also a BoP meta gem assortment would be spectacular. Make some BoP meta gems that you need max skill and maybe even lvl 80 to use, but it would be sweet to be able to equipt so many awesome gems like that.
The same could be said for Alchemy?Originally Posted by zwitter
