    Does Wild Quiver suck?

I haven't got a good chance to test this much... but I didn't really seem to notice it at all.

I see a lot of random people saying it's garbage, any collective thoughts?

Here's the spec I was going to try out @ 80 if Wild Quiver sucks.

I didn't do Rapid Killing since it makes Rapid Fire's cooldown the same as Readiness... so it's just not needed.

Been doing BM since TBC came out, and I'm pretty bored. I don't really see a lot of new talents that will change the playstyle too much in the BM tree, so I figured with Chimera shot and it's utilities I'd go back and give MM a shot (pun intended).

    Re: Does Wild Quiver suck?

Rapid Fire has 15 sec duration, with 5 min cd.
    Readiness has 3 min cd.

With Rapid Killing 2/2 and Readiness, you cast Rapid Fire, and 15 sec later, you can do it again by using Readiness.

That means that 15 sec (3 min cd), then another 15 sec (new 3 min cd), then when the 3 min are up, you can repeat.

So you get 2 Rapid Fire uses every 3 min 15 sec, since you lose 15 sec everytime the Rapid Fire and Readiness overlap.

Without Rapid Killing, you use Rapid Fire (15 sec), then Readiness+Rapid Fire (15 sec). Now you can use again Rapid Fire after 3 min, and Readiness after 5 mins.
Every 15 min you get 5+3 = 8 Rapid Fire.
When Readiness and Rapid Fire overlap, you lose 15 sec.
That happens once every 15 min. So 15min 15 sec = 8 Rapid Fire.

Every 16min15sec[5*(3min15sec)] - With 2/2 RK and Readiness, it overlaps every 3min - you get 10 Rapid Fire every.

I think my math is right. Tho it's off the top of my head.
    ---------

MM is atm kind of exploding with DPS stuff. Can't have it all indeed. - That would be fine if they were pretty much all similarly powerful, but there are clear winners.
Blizzard talks they want you to have enough points for Fun Talents, bla bla, but they swarm alot of trees with pure "must have" talents all over.

I'll buy that the tree needs work, but I disagree regarding this comment.

Thanks for the input on Wild Quiver, I'll definitely stay away.

Wild Quiver is about on par with a Warrior's/Rogue's sword spec.

Does 50% Nature damage(not modifed by armor)

10% chance to proc off Auto Shot(Twice that of a Rogue or Warrior)

Other than it only procs off of Auto Shot it is almost on par with a sword spec Rogue or Warrior.

It will do about the same percentage of damage overall as points you put into it. 1 = 1% 2 = 2% 3 = 3%.

From my calculations Wild Quiver gives you aprox 3% overal dmg

something wich is on pair with other talents in the tree making it worth his 3 talent points giving 1% dmg increase from each point

But given it's a percentile chance, it's very subject to RNG screw.

It needs to ****ing work like Necrosis.

Except Autoshot is at best a third (inc. pet) of Hunter's damage, less than Rogues and Warriors.
