Guardian's Plate vs Guardian's Scaled in 3.0

Hey guys,
When the 3.0 hit, which one would be better for ret pally, Guardian's Plate or Guardian's Scaled? Since mana won't be our issue anymore with JotW, is it better to get Guardian's Plate over Guardian's Scaled(with int) for higher crit and stamina? What is your opinion?

Blizzard wants retadins to use the same gear as warriors. I personally wouldn't be surprised to see the scaled honor stuff disappear completely.

you mean be changed into plate stuff right? or at least have the stats changed?
I don't want my pvp gear to disappear. ='(

yup, now the shock gear is just "better" from what i remember. haven't checked in awhile tho.

I havn't heard of blizz announcing any plans to change the already existing level 70 ret gear for PvP or PvE as a result of not needing as much mana after 3.0. I don't want to sound greedy, because they've already improved ret a lot, but I'd be disappointed if blizz didn't make this change to level 70 gear SOMETIME before wrath if not on the 14th.
