    Overpowered? Holy paladin?

already have enough to not warrant us having CC, it's called plate and a shield or a bubble. A bubble, for all intents and purposes, is 12 seconds of free heal time.
Not true. First of all, bubble can only be used every 5 minutes, and now atleast ret paladins and warlocks get pierce through it. That's not much anymore. And plate? Well, it doesn't help against CC/mana burn/spells/interrupts. Those are the things holy paladins suffer from. We are very very easy to completely shut down and plate does not help with that at all, shield or no shield.

You can also HoJ in that time, or rep. if you have it, to give you even more time. If you add ANOTHER CC on top of that, well, you should understand by now.
HoJ has very low range, and atleast for holy paladins it's on a 1min CD. That's overpowered, you think?

We are not talking repentace here cos it is a ret paladin talent.

Caution: Wall of Text inc. Skip to the last paragraph if you're impatient.

I hear so many if statements. If you spend half your points you can get repentance, if you spend about a third of your points you can get improved hammer of justice. So yeah, holy pallies have to spend half our points to have a decent form of cc? Lets see what all these other classes have to deal with/inflict cc and survivability:

Priests: AOE fear, mana burn, PW:S (One of the best defenses against wars and all ms effects) and many instant casts to keep them and their teammates up for arena/pvp.

Warlocks: Soul link easily available to all specs (Yes you can kill the pet, but do you have to kill the pet to only make it easier to kill the lock), Drain life, Curse of Tongues, Mana Drain, Fear, Demon Armor, Deathcoil, Spell lock from pet or Seduce, Dispel and Purge from pet. And yes, even if they are cc-ed dots keep ticking.

Frost Mages: Blink (Almost immune to stuns), Iceblock, Frost Nova (from pet also), Polymorph, Counterspell, Don't have to cast much with many instants, Frost Armor (Very underrated because it can't be dispelled and makes all melee attack significantly slower.

Rogues: CloS, Vanish, Blind, Gouge, Kick, Deadly Throw, Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot, Sap, Wound Poison, Mind Numbing Poison.

Resto Druids: Basically immune to polymorph, Cyclone, Abolish Poison (Good vs rogues), Roots, Barkskin and a plethora of instant casts to keep people alive.

Resto Shaman: Hex, Grounding Totems, Shocks, Poison Cleansing Totems (Really good vs rogues), and with Riptide and Earth Shield provides some pretty good healing without casting (Yes I admit that this is not as strong as some other classes).

Hunters: Traps (Although the reliance of these can be questioned), Viper Sting (If you look at it at 80 it drains a pretty good amount of mana), Feign Death (Good for interruption), Disengage. Beast: Intimidation, and 18 seconds of red. Survival: Silencing Shot (Albeit weak). Surv: Wyvrn sting, and scatter shot (I will also admit that the CC/survivability of this class isn't very strong either and coupled with the low dps because of pillar humping it’s very hard to do decent damage versus good arena players).

Warriors: Charge, Intercept, Pummel, Bezerker Rage (Almost fear immune), Spell Reflect, and yes Defensive stance. Arms: Bladestorm, Lower CD Intercept. Fury: Heroic Fury. Prot: Warbringer (insanely good), Concussive blow, Imp Spell Reflect.

Holy Paladin: We Wear Plate, We have a low-end heal in Holy Shock on a 6 second CD, Hammer of Justice on 60 sec CD, Blessing of Freedom is on a 25 second CD and is dispellible by Wars (Shield Slam), Shaman, Mages, Priests, Warlock's Pet, Hunters (Tranq shot). Blessing of Sacrifice (Makes us immune to Polymorph for only 12 seconds so long as we have it on someone taking damage and isn't dispelled by one of the previously mentioned classes), and Wait for it.......Divine Shield aka the greatest ability of all time: Allows you to heal you and your partners at least once in an arena match so long as you don't get silenced before or dispelled by a priest while under this effect (Only 12 seconds and 5 min CD). Also, we have to stand to cast all of our other spells constantly. But yeah, with RNG we might be able to sneak in a flash of light.

DK: Can't comment on them yet.

So the take home point: So plate and mail wearers probably have less survivability than cloth and leather wearers. And pure casters don't have to cast spells to do good damage with all these instant casts. So the only people that have to cast are hybrids in order to do good damage: SP, Balance druids, Ele Shaman, and Hunters (weird isn't it?). And yes, plate and divine shield aren't enough to keep Holy pallies viable 2v2 and 3v3 arena. I would give up divine shield for some good cc/anti-cc abilities any day. And also, I did mention some talent specific abilities for some classes because these abilities are in the same tree as their spec.
