At the moment (with no experience in wotlk pvp) I'm thinking something like this:

Depending on preference, you could switch a few things around, drop subtlety for furor, drop celestial focus and go into master shapeshifter (I'm not sure how often I'll be using starfire). Gale winds should still be pretty sweet because of the extra 4 yards on cyclone. You could drop it and go into subtlety if you liked.

That might look something like this:

I gather there won't be any spirit on the pvp gear, and if so I won't be taking imp form.
A lot of what you spec will also depend on how haste performs for pvp - i.e. understand that past a certain point it hits the gcd limit on wrath and is therefore most useful for starfire.
I hear brambles is pretty sweet too for the damage thorns can pump out as well as the daze effect.

I was 367 wins 123 loses in the PTR on my boomkin and this was the spec I used.

Yes btw you can see how many duels you've lost or won in the PTR/patch. It's in your achievements under statistics/pvp/world if you want to check it out.
But basily with that build you don't have uber mana gen but you do have uber burst/utility.

As I understand it, they will be reducing Moonfury and Earth and Moon to 3pts each to help reduce bloat (I'm not sure when its being implemented, perhaps with the patch tonight?).
Thats 4 extra points you might utilise - have a play with 3 in each and see what you come up with.

That's correct. Those are the planned changes however it has yet to happen on Beta and I don't believe it did on the PTR. Couldn't begin to guess if that will go through with the patch without any testing. Granted it's just a reduction but they've had some trouble when it comes to talents...major bugs etc.

Would hate to see this change not go through until LK launches. It would be a great benefit to Balance at 70.

how much base haste have you got?

and is it worth it to get all the haste increase talents if you have very little haste.....last of all how much haste would you need to make it worth while
