When do Scribes get their extra major slot?

They removed that feature and gave them more powerful shoulder inscriptions instead.

That's pretty lame... oh well.

64 AP, doesn't stand up against the ~60 stats that smiths and LW get.
or even the 40 stats that enchanters get.

Wasn't the "extra" glyph slot something available at level 80?

When did they remove it? What was the reason they gave?

Ya, if it was removed I might not even bother getting inscription anymore. I can just pay someone else for glyphs/scrolls and get something that actually effects meta-gaming more like leatherworking.

Who said anything about 64 AP? Here's the shoulder enchants, currently, for inscription:

Master's Inscription of the Axe
395 405 Permanently adds 104 attack power and 15 critical strike rating to shoulder armor.

Master's Inscription of the Crag
395 405 Permanently adds 61 spell power and 6 mana every 5 sec to shoulder armor.

Master's Inscription of the Pinnacle
395 405 Permanently adds 52 dodge rating and 15 defense rating to shoulder armor.

Master's Inscription of the Storm
395 405 Permanently adds 61 spell power and 15 critical strike rating to shoulder armor.



Also, we get to make darkmoon faire cards, and ability scrolls. If you think LW or BS is better, more power to you. I'm doing inscription.

One other thing - we aren't losing a major glyph slot. Before, we only had 2 majors, 2 minors, and 2 lessers. Now, we have 3 majors and 3 minors. Can you imagine the problem, game-wise, if enchanters got to enchant their belts, necks, relics, shirts, and tabards? It would be somewhere close to the imbalance of inscribers having an extra major slot.
