3.0.2 mining

so i logged on and i saw the toughness buff for mining.............300 health........at max skill (375). is there a 0 missing on the end of that 300 number? cos last i checked most 70's have btwn 8 - 12k health (maybe higher). is that really low or am i crazy?

No, it's correct.

500 is the max, and that's for 450 skill.

It's still a rather large buff.

it's correct and for a gathering skill " buff " it's very good. Very very good actually - they didn't have to give it us. 300 HP for a person other than a tank is 30 stam witch is an epix item's stam equvlient!

I guess that got changed recently.

herbalism probably got it best, selfheal herbs and instahot with CD

heck 2 hp is better then nothing.... it just means you have to stack 500 hp less which can often turn the tide of a heated slot geming debacle.

i had like 11.4k and now have like 11.2k (if memory serves, which it very well could not :-\)

My prot pally lost HP even with the +300 mining buff.

Pre-patch he was at 16.7k unbuffed (or something close to that).

Post-patch he was at 15.8k unbuffed (or something like that).

I had slightly less when I logged in too, then I realized that I had not used any of my talents. I went full survival from full BM on my hunter and I now have 14300 something HPs unbuffed, up from 13091 monday. Combining the talents and mining buff, it made a huge difference.

These additions are simply a small bonus, nothing more, its not as if "hey look, im a miner, i can tank now" same with the crit... its not supposed to provide a massive bonus, just a little reward for leveling a gathering profession to that point

Did the OP actually expect to get 3000 HP? Every single person who cares about PvP and tanking would roll Mining...

Alot of your gear was changed to fit in the new playstyle for your class.
