    [Question] Patch notes vs. Implemented

    Hello everyone!

I was checking out the patch notes (http://www.mmo-champion.com/index.php?page=818) and I read the message saying that some abilities and changes will be implemented at a later time, due to balancing level 70 versus level 80.

My question was, Mind Melt is the replacement talent for Shadow Resilience, and allows 2%/4% extra crit on our spells that can crit. However, all the patch notes are silent on this, and even show it as the old "reduces physical damage taken by 2%/4%".

Is anyone able to check on the live 3.0.2 version whether this spot has Mind Melt or Shadow Resilience?

I am at work at the moment so I cannot check it, but I would like to know this as I prepare the talents I will take this evening. ^_^

    Thanks for the help!

    Dont trust the patch notes.

for every PTR build. the exact set of patch notes has been used continuosly for paladins.
i havent read into anything else, but it would seem that blizzard are too lazy to update them, even for the final release

So while the notes may be complete and/or correct, dont trust em

Re: [Question] Patch notes vs. Implemented

theres different patch notes out there at the moment, for example:

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/ are not the same as

    http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patch...atchnotes.html

and http://www.mmo-champion.com/index.php?page=818 is the same as the above.

you can VERY safely assume at least the priest bit is not completely right, as it still includes
Force of Will (Discipline): This talent now increases your spell damage by a flat amount, rather than increasing your spells by a %. (Now increases school %, rather than selected spells damage %). In other words, your spell damage gained from this talent is now reflected on your character sheet, rather than the skill tool-tips.
a talent which got the shaft, enlightenment took its place, and the top link can be VERY safely assumed to not be correct EITHER as it still includes
New Talent: Twin Disciplines (Discipline) - Increases your damage and healing by 1/2/3/4/5%.
a talent thats been changed a couple of times since that incarnation.

so all in all.. we dont have the slightest clue what the final patch notes are, wish for the best? ???

Re: [Question] Patch notes vs. Implemented

    Thanks for the info.

I was afraid that the answer would be inconclusive, so I probably will have to dig through my skills and talents once I get home to make a list of what really changed and how much of what was communicated is really going to be implemented.

Not really a big issue, just a bit inconvenient.
