Legendary Bow Thori'Dal Ninja'd by a Rogue! Us Ner'Zhul

Okay, so it wasn't exactly ninja'd but pretty damn close lol..Any rogue that would demand the Bow over other hunters in the guild is a fuckin ninja and an asshole. Pretty sad guilds come to this point where they form their little alliances and gear up officers instead of being fair to friends..

Selfishness has hit an alltime high on US Ner'Zhul as Death By Snoo Snoo guild (a guild pre patch was stuck on Twins) was able to down Kil Jaeden with the nerfs, and they looted the Legendary Bow Thori'Dal to a Rogue over 2 long time hunter guild members.

Not sure if armory is updated considering it was recently ninja'd. Or plain and simple he probably took the bow off because he has got ALOT of Hate/Ninja tells since he took the bow.

The bow was given to the rogue because he had 100% raid attendance and had been in the guild from the start... the hunters had just joined the guild not long ago. They rewarded a dedicated player instead of giving it away to some new people who would probably actually ninja it...

It was given to a loot whore rogue over 2 hunters who had been there through out Sunwell, very fair. It was ninja'd

WOLK comes out in 18 days. It doesn't matter.

Pre-patch, id be concerned at the news. But now that Lol'jaeden can be killed by 25 people pressing their buttocks on their keyboards, and considering this weapon is going the way of Sulfuras and Thunderfury in a few weeks, I don't think its that special anymore.

For the record: Its a hunter weapon and should only go to hunters. Blame the guild/raid leadership, not the rogue.

kinda makes you wish it was class:hunter... like glaives are...

but what can you do? at least its close to wotlk so its not much of a deal.

+ at least the hunters can find a better guild now with officers like that...

They kill KJ, they get to decide who to give the loot to, it's pretty simple really. Anyone that manages to keep the guild focused and progressing (through SWP pre 3.0.2) is doing something right, and considering the number of Dual Glaives rogues that immediately sell their accounts and start lvling new rogues for wrath, it makes a lot of sense to give prestige loot to people that have been around for a long time and not people who have just joined and random new-comers.

Just because its good for hunters doesn't mean its not best in slot for other classes, and when its your turn to loot one you can decide who gets it and why...

Uh hello, why do you think dkp was gotten rid of? Rogues have almost zero use for a bow except for stats and the help to hunters is so great that it shouldn't matter even if the hunters might just /gquit and sell their character. He may be a dedicated player, but it isn't a weapon for him. It's basically the same as if hunters could get the Warglaives from Illidan. It would always go to rogues, whether or not they would use it to help the guild. I think it was stupid to give the rogue a hunter weapon, and thats the end of story, its ninja'ing by the guild if they gave it to the rogue and completely wrong. Honestly just think about the moral and ethical thing that someone would do, not what a few stupid people used to do and don't do anymore in BC.

IIRC, the Rogue had been with the guild since KARA. A few weeks working on Sunwell does not entitle you to a legendary, even if it is a bow. And the droprate on it is MUCH higher than Glaives, so if they keep raiding they'll probably pick one up.

But its not the hunters fault that the droprate is higher, its just blizzards favoritism i guess and they cant suffer for that. The rogue had minimal use for it and the hunter has a ton of use, so no amount of time or dedication outweighs that fact.

Im totaly against this, i mean wtf? IF the officers would ask me (if i was the rogue) if i wanted the legendary bow, i would have sad no. Give it to the hunter instead becaus u cant fucking be that greedy to take the bow... some pride here please.

Just like i said last time this happened, once you can kill KJ every week loot is just a reward for dedication. As soon as you have everything in the game on farm loot no longer helps the raid to progress because there is nothing left to progress to. At this point ANY AND ALL loot is merely a toy to show off that is given to people to reward them for the work they put in to get to that point in progress. As it stands a rogue having the bow is helping the raid progress exactly as much as a hunter with the bow, so if he has put in the time and effort and the hunters have not, grats rogue on your new legendary.
