Prot Warrior on the Ret Nerf

Not as much threat Gen as much as how much they need to pull threat.

Ranged can go like 110% or something of tank's threat before they pull off.

Hunter is still waste of Vigilance.

Misdirect + Fiegn death = no hunter aggro.

I'd rather use my Vig on a melee DPS that doesn't have an aggro wipe.

Case in point:

Saturday morning did Gruul's for fun. On Gruul, me and another Prot warrior. The other Prot War put Vigilance on our T6/SW hunter, that hunter Misdirected onto that Prot War..

I had vigilance on T4-5 + 3.4 badge Enhance Shaman, no Misdirect, I was suppose to be OT while other War was MT, I stole top aggro within about 5 seconds of pull and kept it all throughout the fight.

Explaination? Higher TPS due to higher block and lawlShaman threat gen.

I play a well geared Protection Warrior.

This sounds crazy... but I'm upset about the Ret nerf! With the addition of Vigilance and Repentance. I mean.... a Ret Paladin was the PERFECT partner for a Prot Warrior in 3.0.

I put Vigilance on the Ret Pally. Tell him to wait 10 second for DPS. Put him on Add when needed. PLUS a CC. I mean its great!

Not to mention with Ret being so great.... Paladins around the WoW world are spec'ing Ret which leaves 1 more tank spot open for me.

Leave Ret alone!

I stayed prot. Always will be prot....
