Little Advice (Healing Priest)

Thanks for taking the time to read this first off. Ok the guild I run is very laid back we do what we can when we can so while I may not be uber I help the people in my guild and they are appreciative.

I haven't really been keeping up with the Spell Power change etc (have 4 other 70s) but these were obvious upgrades.

The questions I have would be:

1. What would be the best Gem Combo for the Hood?

2. Is the "Healing" power enchant (40) still the best for Healing Priest on the Hexblade?

3. How do my talents look with regards to a pure healer, both 5 and 10 mans?

4. Is there easily obtained (5/10 man) better? (meaning I dont want to "best" gem/enchant) only to upgrade in a week)

I don't see me really getting anything better Hat and weapon wise sans 25 mans, which I really haven't done. I may but I do believe these 2 items will be the "best" for some time.

What say you?

May I say something about your spec? I noticed you dont have meditation, this is quite a mandatory talent for a any specced priest (not sure about shadowpriest atm, but i would still ditch dispersion and go for med), this would indeed mean you'd have to give up on guardian spirit, but you'll have it at 80 anyway.

Spirittap is something you dont need as healer, because it only procs on offensif spells.

So your options are ditch guardian spirit to get mediation or spec full discipline ;D

Of course that is why I posted it.

Yes I noticed that (the Meditation thing) when looking around. Guild needed a healer day of patch so I just planted everything.

So I will remove Spirit Tap, Guardian Spirit, and Imp Holy Concentration to free up 7 points and place them:
2 in Imp PW Fort
1 rounding out Silent resolve
3 in Meditation
1 in Test of Faith (best place for the last one?)

That is the build I would use if I switched from shadow to holy. You don't really need Blessed Recovery or Spell Warding in a PvE aspect, since you shouldn't be getting hit anyways. You don't really need the points in Holy Reach or Healing Prayers, with the combination of current mana efficiency and just smartcasting the Prayer of Healing into the middle of a group that needs it. Personally, I don't think you need the 3 points in Serendipity over the 3 in Imp Holy Concentration, especially on fights where mobs/bosses can hit hard and fast. I would also take Inner Focus as your "Oh crap" button. Hasn't failed me yet. :P
