Brood of Nozdormu Rep

Hello everyone,

I recently did Aq20 and Aq40, when I started I was slightly into hated with Brood of Nozdormu. I went in thinking I would increase my rep but every mob/boss I killed it said "Rep Gained" but I was going further into hated. Is this a bug or something? If so I wanna get it fixed with a GM... hopefully. Trying to start the scepter quest for fun and I dont wanna grind 5k rep in silithid fragments. Thanks

Edit: I just turned in "Only One May Rise" and it said I gained 500 rep but I lost 500... help me!

This is normal behavior. All reputations move from 0 to 3000/6000/12000/21000/36000 when you gain reputation with that faction based on your progression towards the next level up.

I think you misread my post. I am going further into Hated when I should be gaining rep.

And by "going further into hated" you mean?  It sounds like you're just not reading the reputation properly, and think that going from 1000 -> 1500 means going further into hated.  If this is not the case then yes, you've obviously got some wonky behavior going on.

For clarity: 0/36000 Hated is the lowest reputation you can reach. 35999/36000 Hated means that with 1 more point of reputation you will move up to the next step closer to Neutral.

you are still gaining rep. when you are hated the rep works counter-intuitively

You move all the way to 36k/36k then you get unfriendly

when you start at 0/36000 then GAIN rep and it increase gain 500 rep and it's 500/36000) then it shouldn't take much brain to figure out that after you hit 35999/36000 you'll there after be Hostile and I think it was 0/6000.

you see instead of going:
Hatad <-- Hostile <-- unfriendly <-- Neutral --> Friendly --> Honored --> Revered --> Exalted

it goes:

Hatad --> Hostile --> unfriendly --> Neutral --> Friendly --> Honored --> Revered --> Exalted

but I guess you spent a bit too much time with the zombies... BRAINZ............. ;D
