Which should I level? Retadin/Rogue

I can't decide which class I should level to 80 first. I love both of them, and I love pvp so mostly what I'm worried about is arena. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I would go with a paladin if I were you. Since you are unsure I think you would be more satisfied if you had a class that can change things up a bit if you begin to get bored, for example heal or tank

I think I would go with the pala also..Why? Because I see Rogues getting nerfed faster then Paladin's. I guess Paladin's will stay the way they are now(atleast for a while). They got nerfed lately, and Rogues only got buffed while a nerf was needed, so yea, the chance for Rogues to be getting a big nerf is greater every patch. Also, like Armryl said, Paladin can give you up to 3 choices which are Healing/Tanking/Dpsing, while Rogue only give you Dps/Dps/Dps.

Yeah honestly I don't think they will nerf rogues. But I also like the options of a paladin. I don't plan on doing much raiding, just pvp. I don't like paladin healing so if I'm going to stick to a dps I think I might go with a rogue.

Do not roll a paladin if you value your sanity. Blizz has destroyed our burst without anything to make up for the loss. You will slam your keyboard into the wall every time you get a target down to 5% during HoJ then they proceed to heal to full.

Rogues will always be one of the top represented classes because they are given the tools to counter various situations. Melee on you-Pop Evasion. Casters blowing you up-CloS. Need a CC- Blind, Sap, gouge and stuns.

Pallies are the red-headed step child of Blizzard. Blizzard does not know how to manage a class with BUBBLEZ AND PLATEZ AND HEALZ, so continues to nerf them TO THE GROUND until they are free HKs... again.

Rogues have gotten the nerf stick hard. No more deadly throw unless you go with combat (which no rogue should go for pvp) and cos was given a longer cooldown. SS isn't a reliable pvp spec atm and shadow dance sucks...so rogues did get nerfed. gg. Roll a ret because a ret can kill any class in their stun rotation and or bubble.... gg

Shadow dance sucks more than a porno star. I dunno about you but i only have ten fingers and that many keybinds is no fun. That and the window of opportunity is minuscule.

Def go Rogue. Rogues are useful, fun, not a waste of space, actually take some skill to be exceptionally good (it isn't just bubble/AW/lol), and they will always have a place in raids/pve/pvp (especially late game when their scaling over casters really shines). It's a class with multiple playstyles VS the levelling spec of a class; which one do you honestly think will always have a place? If you want 2H dps go roll a DK or something =p

If you want the tools to beat every class, level a Rogue. If you wanna be gimp, lolret.

For world pvp fun i would say lvl rogue. But if you wanna go for rating then lvl your paladin
because every good combo that was with a rogue got swapped for a paladin atm

(mage/rogue was best mage combo now its mage/paladin.)
(priest rogue now priest/paladin.)

and in level 80 you don,t have much more new skills so i think most of the combo's will be the same as now.

At least they are moving forbearance and making AW and DS share a common 30s cd so you can never use both together.

I have both but pallies gives u more options to have fun with or if u change your mind and decide to heal or tank all 3 specs are viable and decent as a pali.

Yeah of course .... pfff (that s what the simple minded thinck about ret)
So ret can destroy the world during stun or buble ? then if this happens to you then just reroll because that means you suck .... as for rogues being nerfed bad well i have a ret and a rogue

on my rogue full s3 i pull out 3k6 embush crit well now tell me who hits harder plz
and about ret being easy to pay well rogue in that case are easy too (do you remember the NE rogues played by 12 years old kidz ?) embush shadow dance embush vanish embush prepa vanish embush or if you are muti spec it s even easyer cheap shot muti cold blood muti evi = a dead opponent

Palladin I'd say, assuming you do want to see some pve as well this will at least give you options for different roles. Myself I'd do rogue > palladin but palladin is the one class that has zero appeal to me, as both dps and healing spec anyways. Myself I have a bit more difficult decision to make, for I have 6 70s and 3 of them are mains.
